come esprimere le preferenze:would rather

In questo post ho spiegato come usare il verbo to prefer-preferire
per parlare delle preferenze

Una alternativa è usare  WOULD RATHER
molto usato nel parlato con la forma contratta I'd rather

Would Rather + forma base del verbo
I would rather(not) go
Would Prefer +  infinito del verbo
I would prefer(not) to go

We’d rather go on Saturday
